1. Scope of this Disclaimer

This page explains what Clinical EFT with Kay is — and is not.

Clinical EFT with Kay is operated by Kristin “Kay” Kraggerud and provides Clinical EFT coaching, mind-body support, educational resources, email reflections, online courses, and related supportive services.

This Disclaimer applies to the information shared on this website, in blog posts, email reflections, online courses, booking pages, intake forms, private sessions, consultations, downloadable resources, and related communications.

The information provided by Clinical EFT with Kay is intended for educational and supportive purposes only. It should not be treated as medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

2. EFT is not medical care

Clinical EFT is complementary, not a replacement for healthcare.

Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT or tapping, is a complementary method that may support emotional and physical wellbeing.

EFT is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, psychiatric, or physical condition. It is not a substitute for professional healthcare, medical treatment, mental health care, psychotherapy, counselling, diagnosis, medication, or emergency support.

If you have a medical or psychological diagnosis, symptoms, health concerns, trauma history, medication questions, or any concern requiring professional care, please remain under the care of a licensed healthcare provider or qualified mental health professional.

Please do not delay, stop, or replace medical or mental health treatment because of anything you read on this website, receive by email, learn in a course, or discuss in an EFT coaching session.

3. Not therapy or psychotherapy

Clinical EFT with Kay offers coaching and mind-body support.

Clinical EFT with Kay provides Clinical EFT coaching and mind-body support. This work is educational and supportive in nature.

I do not provide therapy, psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care, medical treatment, mental health diagnosis, medical diagnosis, medication advice, or crisis intervention.

If you need therapy, medical care, psychiatric care, diagnosis, medication support, crisis care, or treatment for a mental health or medical condition, please contact an appropriately licensed professional.

4. Practitioner qualifications and scope

My role is supportive, not clinical diagnosis or treatment.

I, Kristin Elise Kraggerud, am a certified Master EFT practitioner and trauma-informed Clinical EFT practitioner. I am not a licensed medical doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, counsellor, social worker, nurse, dietitian, or other licensed healthcare provider.

My role is to guide and support you using Clinical EFT, coaching, and related educational tools within my scope of practice. You remain responsible for your own choices, wellbeing, healthcare decisions, and whether this work feels appropriate for you.

Where an issue appears outside my scope, I may recommend that you seek support from a licensed medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other qualified professional.

5. Client responsibility

You are responsible for your choices and care.

By using this website, reading resources, subscribing to emails, booking a consultation, participating in a session, or purchasing a course or service, you understand that you are responsible for your own decisions and wellbeing.

You agree to:

  • Use your own judgment about whether Clinical EFT coaching is appropriate for you.
  • Seek licensed medical or mental health support when needed.
  • Tell me if something does not feel right, feels too intense, or feels outside your comfort level.
  • Pause or stop any exercise, tapping process, or reflection that feels overwhelming or unsuitable.
  • Not use EFT coaching as a replacement for emergency, medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.
You are always welcome to slow down, pause, decline a question, or choose not to continue with a tapping process.

6. No guarantees

Results vary from person to person.

Clinical EFT with Kay makes no guarantees, promises, or claims regarding specific results, outcomes, timelines, symptom changes, emotional shifts, business outcomes, health outcomes, or financial outcomes.

Any benefits experienced through EFT, coaching, courses, resources, or sessions are individual and may depend on many factors, including personal history, current circumstances, health status, support systems, readiness, consistency, and other individual factors.

Some people may experience relief, clarity, reduced intensity, new insight, or a sense of steadiness. Others may experience more gradual change, no noticeable change, or the need for additional professional support.

7. Testimonials and examples

Client reflections are personal experiences, not promises.

Testimonials, client reflections, case examples, stories, and descriptions shared on this website or in related materials reflect individual experiences.

They are not guarantees that you will experience the same or similar results. They should not be interpreted as medical claims, mental health claims, treatment claims, or promises of outcome.

Some client details may be shortened, edited for clarity, anonymized, or shared with permission to protect privacy and readability.

8. Trauma, emotional safety, and pacing

Gentle support still needs appropriate care.

Clinical EFT can bring attention to memories, emotions, body sensations, beliefs, or life experiences that may feel tender or intense.

My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and paced, but this does not mean that all emotional material is appropriate to work with in a coaching setting. Some concerns are better supported by a licensed therapist, trauma specialist, doctor, psychiatrist, or other qualified professional.

You are encouraged to seek additional professional support if you are dealing with complex trauma, severe symptoms, dissociation, active addiction, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, severe depression, eating disorders, abuse, domestic violence, or any situation requiring licensed or urgent care.

EFT coaching is not intended to replace trauma therapy, medical care, psychiatric care, crisis care, or any other appropriate professional support.

9. Crisis and emergency support

This is not an emergency service.

Clinical EFT with Kay does not provide crisis intervention, emergency support, suicide prevention services, or urgent mental health care.

If you are in immediate danger, at risk of harming yourself or someone else, experiencing a medical emergency, or need urgent support, please contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

Do not wait for an email reply, consultation, appointment, or EFT session if you need urgent help.

10. Online sessions and technology

Online support has practical limits.

Sessions are generally offered online. Online work can be effective and supportive, but it depends on stable technology, privacy, and your ability to participate from a safe and appropriate environment.

You are responsible for choosing a private location, using a stable internet connection where possible, and letting me know if you feel unsafe, interrupted, overwhelmed, or unable to continue.

No online platform, email system, booking tool, or digital communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted.

11. Business, money, and professional decisions

Business EFT support is not business, legal, or financial advice.

Some services, resources, or sessions may support emotional blocks related to business, visibility, pricing, confidence, procrastination, self-doubt, or decision-making.

This support is not business consulting, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, financial planning, or a guarantee of business income, client results, sales, visibility, or financial outcome.

Please consult qualified professionals for legal, financial, accounting, tax, or business advice where needed.

12. Website, blog, email, and course content

Educational content is general information.

Website pages, blog posts, email reflections, downloadable resources, course materials, social media content, and other educational materials are provided for general educational and supportive purposes.

They are not individualized advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or personal care from a qualified provider.

External links or references are provided for convenience or educational context. Mention of any product, service, organization, practitioner, resource, or method does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
