Meet Kay Kraggerud
Clinical EFT Practitioner specializing in stress relief, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed emotional healing
My clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who rarely fall apart in public— but inside it can feel like their system is always bracing for the next thing. Our work is about giving your nervous system the signal that it's safe to stand down.
Why I Do This Work
A large part of my work is helping people understand what their nervous system has been trying to communicate for years—clearly, practically, and with deep respect for what they've already managed on their own.
For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by how stress quietly shapes our inner world: the thoughts we have, the choices we make, and how we show up for the people we care about. Living and working in eleven different countries made something very clear—so many high-functioning people appear steady on the outside while their nervous system feels constantly on alert underneath.
I recognized that pattern in myself too. I knew how to keep moving, keep performing, and keep showing up, even when my shoulders were tight, sleep was restless, and my mind never really powered down.
Where Clinical EFT came in. Clinical EFT gave me a practical way to address what the body was trying to protect, and to offer it safety instead of more pressure. It became the framework I wished I'd had earlier—and it's why I use it every day with clients who need proven tools, not just coping strategies.
Who I Work With
If you recognize yourself in any of these patterns, you're not alone. Many clients arrive feeling they "should be coping better" than they are. Together, we address what's really happening beneath the surface.
You might recognize yourself in one or more of these:
High-functioning professionals managing chronic stress
- Mental load that rarely switches off, even during downtime.
- A nervous system that feels "on" all the time, even when the day looks calm.
- Anxiety, overthinking, or pressure to perform that affects sleep and clarity.
- Physical tension you can't seem to release (jaw, shoulders, back).
Individuals navigating transitions and burnout
- Life transitions, grief, or burnout that have left you feeling unlike yourself.
- A sense that you "should be coping" but your body tells a different story.
- Irritability with people you care about, followed by guilt or self-criticism.
- A need to regain groundedness, clarity, and inner calm.
Coaches, entrepreneurs, and caregivers
- Leaders and helpers who hold responsibility for many people.
- A commitment to being present for others without depleting your own capacity.
- Self-doubt or imposter syndrome despite visible competence and achievement.
How We Work Together
Evidence-Based EFT Sessions Tailored to Your Nervous System
Many clients come to me after trying approaches that helped temporarily but didn't address the deeper patterns. In our sessions, we move at a pace that respects your experience while creating measurable shifts in how your nervous system responds to stress.
- We identify your stress patterns. Together we map how fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses show up in your daily life and relationships—and recognize how they've protected you until now.
- We track your nervous system signals. We pay attention to physical cues—your breath, tension points, heart rate, or gut responses—as data, not problems to fix immediately.
- We use Clinical EFT to recalibrate stored stress. Focused tapping helps your nervous system register "you are safe enough right now," so your body doesn't have to maintain constant vigilance.
- We build capacity and resilience. As your nervous system recalibrates, rest, clarity, and emotional bandwidth become more accessible—not something you have to earn or force.
- You gain practical tools you can use independently. My goal is that you feel equipped with proven techniques you can apply on your own, long after our work together concludes.
You maintain complete control over the pace, topics, and boundaries. My role is to provide expertise, structure, and a professional, judgment-free environment.
